lechometer

You must've seen these seemingly useless mirrors in the inside of autos. They are called lechometers. Apparently one auto man confessed to some guy i know can't remember who that it is meant for looking at skirts and beyond.
So i finally manage to see what one actually can see through them. hehehe.

ya i guess they make more than sound traffic sense..
on the rear view mirrors of bikes is generally written 'objects in mirror appear closer than they actually are'

@ruchika-ya kind of sick to imagine it that when your busy worrying bout reaching college on time you might just be leched at all along
@vogon and satyajit- ya strange what an ingenious concept who thought of it? and why didnt anyone question it's existence?

well to behonest its been on for a long time.... and people including me have also asked the question , but the usual answer is... "sir idhu nam auto.. mirror ella kadey irruthey swalpa adjust maadi... hindhgadey gaadi bandhrey nodbekallva"...
:D yeah i so believe tht guy!
what was he expecting a bus or a truck to pop out of a top or a skirt and collide with his auto???... never fiured that one out did I :)

andits not just the auto guys.. the taxis... and even bus drivers have that habit(usually in buses and taxis instead of an extra mirror the rear view mirror is strategically placed... and never used for the purpose it was actually meant to be used for..) :P
and to cite an incident ive had to
be rude once and lean forward and turn the mirror away a bit inside an auto while travelling... :) i was with a friend of mine and yes she definitely dint like the way the guy was staring at her.. :) she gave me one of those looks and i knew wht it was...
best part abt it.. the auto guy dint complain..actually he dint even ask... just kept quiet and started concentrating on the road.. :) i guess tht lechometer can sumtimes be a safety hazard!!
